I got a really good deal on this. I love this because it's easy to mix and match this with a variety of outfits. I wore this top a couple of times when I was there so this is a great basic top that's easy to mix and match. Another top that I wore was my washable silk top from Prince. I love this top. I bought this last year for my trip to Paris and I've worn it several times since. It's just a great material, great basic top. It matches with like pretty much anything. Pants, slacks, jeans, skirts. Like I've worn it with like so many different bottoms. On this trip I wore it with some shorts. I know a lot of people like to wear it as is like flowy but I kind of like my clothes a little bit more fitted so what I usually do is I will clip or I'll like pin the back of it with like something cute like this like this pin right here. So this pin I bought on Amazon but it just came in the set and you get like a bunch of pins and I didn't want all the other pins but you know what it was like I think 10-15 bucks so I was like whatever I'll just get the whole thing. I usually avoid wearing or buying silk one because it's expensive and you usually can't wash it and you have to take it to the dry cleaners which is like an added expense but the reason why I fell in love with this one was the price point was great. It was very affordable and it's washable so I've already washed this a few times and it's still like in great shape. I knew there was a possibility that I might you know go in the water so I did bring a bathing suit. I brought my bathing suit from Atleta. It comes with straps too if I want to put straps on it. I bought this like I think six years ago when Chris and I went on our trip to Costa Rica. I have not bought a bathing suit since. It's kind of crazy like I've seen other bathing suits that I like and I would buy it but then they just didn't fit right. I actually really like wearing this as a top so this is kind of like my other top that I wore. I would wear this and then over it I would put like a cardigan or something and then when it got warm I just you know wore this like because you know it's like it's like an island vibe there anyway so it's not it doesn't feel awkward walking around in a bathing suit top. This has been my go-to cardigan this year. I first got this on our trip to Japan.

We went to Japan in April and I needed something not too heavy not too light so I ended up getting this cardigan from Quince and it is alpaca wool so it's like nice soft lightweight. It goes with like a ton of outfits and I like the buttons. The buttons are pretty too. It's just a nice lightweight cardigan. It's been my go-to cardigan this year. I love the color. I love the material and the mornings were so pleasant when I took the dogs out for a walk and I always wore a cardigan in the morning because it was a little bit like I mean for most people I don't think mid-60s is chilly but I'm just one of those people that gets you know cold easily so the cardigan was perfect.

what do you put your how do you put your head in there well there's got to be a table behind maybe the other way around there's gonna be someone out there who used to work with these just yelling at us and then do we feel like the hallway isn't the best place to be trying this out i don't know what you're talking about this is a horror movie now this is evolving i really like the idea of i can dry my hair and play on my phone at the same time i have here on this rack an assortment of dark academia fashion that i got from yes style now i was very excited about this video concept based on the images on the yes style website but when the parcel arrived and i actually started filming the video because i was going to make the video i only wore dark academia clothing from yes style for a week i started filming that and i was a little bit just teeny teeny tiny little bit disappointed so much so that i decided not to post the video luckily yes style gave me these clothes for free but i was thinking yeah such a waste to have all of these and never show them on camera but i i just i didn't want to show sounds like it's just not good enough to talk about but today we have an excuse to talk about these clothes and turn a not so great situation into a learning experience and into a bit more of a positive one so i've got my friend caitlin here who i would say probably dresses the closest to dark academia i mean everyone in our friend is me i'm the excuse hello so uh the outfit that turned up in today i i didn't even ask you to dress like that no she recoiled she was very scared no i i wasn't scared i was like aghast i was like oh wow you look so nice so uh and you know you're like seven foot tall say it next time instead of you just like open the door and then you shut the door immediately you didn't say anything you just shut the door on me i looked behind me i was like is there someone following me in they have a knife like the thought process was i opened the door and i was like she looks so good i can't comprehend and i'm just like my brain was like not now i thought all we could do is have a look at these items from yes style i tried to put together three dark academia inspired outfits from yes style and the first one i figured you can't go wrong with like a cream or white turtleneck and a tan that's fine and a brown skirt like a pleated skirt i figured very that's very dark academia pleated skirt and then i got a tweed jacket which would go over the top and there's also a little bag but this little satchel bag as well to match the outfit sweet so that's the outfit number one outfit number two the idea was to have plaid pants and then have a nice sort of cardigan tucked into those plaid pants very apologies she's allergic to bad fashion and then have a brown belt and then i also had a trench coat you know to go over the top okay without that all right i want you to point go to the screen show them what that is that reminds me of like you know uh guy ritchie sherlock holmes background character i'm not mad about that but like if i if i could stand in the background and look a bit like specifically not a penny cumberbatch we're talking like uh robert danny jr he's still nice but it's specifically we're talking like turn of the industrial evolution smokehouse evening governor how you doing uh the final thing that i got i got a white button-up shirt which could then have a vest a tweed vest over the top of it and then matching pants and then the matching blazer so they were my three outfits that i put together so now that i've sort of explained myself oh and also you have riding boots the boots the boots which go with all three of these outfits i was thinking what we could do is head out to a thrift store last year when i did thrift to this my dark academia video was my most popular episode out of all the 25 episodes i posted people liked the dark academia one the most and they wanted me to do it again so i thought between the two of us if we challenge ourselves to say to people all right yes uh buying on a store like yes style or jumping online to a fast fashion website is easy yes sure you can just click on the link from a yes style haul and you can buy that thing but there's something very fun and very rewarding about finding bargain hunting and finding a clothing that is probably almost certainly going to be better as far as quality goes because when you go to the thrift stores and you find a $20 jacket so you said perhaps you know like this jacket might be 15 or 20 kind of thing yeah so if you take your $20 to a thrift store what is the tweed jacket going to be like that you buy from the thrift store well it's probably going to be made of cashmere from the 90s and it's probably really well made with solid buttons that aren't going to fall off as soon to be fair i do want to mention i don't think any of this is particularly poorly made a lot of yes style uh is very like undersold and it's very cheap but i don't think the people who are making it are underskilled yeah i think some whenever it's bad it's always because i think the material is bad it's because someone cheaped out what material to use yeah but i think everything here i think is fine i think it's good yes style you can make a whole outfit you can go and make a whole outfit while you're sitting there and it's great thrifting you could think of an outfit but you might not get all the pieces for like five months exactly and that that does suck but it's also part of the discovery process yeah and it's also part of not buying into current trends and buying things that you're going to be able to wear long term it's very easy see a trend like dark academia and buy the whole lot of it and want to wear those outfits but you bought it very quickly there was no real thought behind it you didn't have to look very hard to find those things so they don't really mean that much to you and once the trend is gone and you've moved on to cottagecore and your dark academia things don't matter anymore you may end up donating them but when you go to thrift stores and let's say you do spend a good couple of months curating and tailoring an outfit that's taking you a very long time to find but once you do find that you know that you're going to hang on to that you're not going to just have your outfit that took you five months to piece together wear it for three weeks and then think that you don't like it anymore and donate that you're going to be far more invested so protected on my clothes i really love a lot of my stuff yeah but like also trends are you're buying clothes for other people you're buying clothes to like take a picture and show yourself to other people whereas if you're thrift shopping yes you can do the same thing but it's a lot more effort you're not always guaranteed and more often than not if you're buying something from a thrift store you're buying it for yourself yeah i definitely agree so i reckon we jump in the car we head out to a thrift store i would like for us to challenge ourselves maybe we could visit two or three stores today i'd like for us to challenge ourselves and see if we can get as close to these items as we can in both our sizes and we don't have to buy every single thing but if we are just browsing through the racks and you can pick it up and say alex these pants you know in this thrift store these are these are like the pants that you had and we can look at the price of them we can duck into a change room try some things on if there's anything that we really love we can obviously get it and bring it back i'm smirking because i'm just imagining me coming back being like i didn't find anything in my size but i found heaps of other stuff don't look at this but i have all right let's head out bye oh shoes we're also going to try and find some shoes those are not leather they're pleather if i find shoes like that you don't i would i'm looking for shoes in my size like that every single day of my life at a thrift store like this is not a single or one-off challenge caitlin i want to i want to teach you something i'm going to teach you something really really important this is how i managed to find a mushroom lamp i said to myself as i was walking toward the thrift store i went mushroom are you trying to you trying to teach manifesting mushroom lab and i walked in and there was a pink vintage mushroom lamp so what are we going to say what are we going to chat no i believe not manifesting right the universe gives you what you need yeah and you need those boots i might need those boots one day i will get a pair of boots they're perfect for me it's taken me five years to not get them when i do find them they're stained really dark on the inside but the outside is this light color i wonder if it was all that color and someone sanded it back to strip away that color yeah definitely someone's definitely stripped this they took a sander to it because it's like all coarse and there's splinters and stuff it's seven hundred dollars it's not bad for this if you were to get a new but they were about two grand for something that size it feels very well made i would never even wear it but it's beautiful off to the next stop that was a pretty successful haul for me i got a basket from each place and i got a vase from each place these are cool 15 dollars oh of course they're size eight oh they're nice these are cute too oh these are a 42 caitlin 42 that's your size the universe gives you what you that rain and we have to walk to the car in that all right we're back it's almost half past six at night we didn't get what we wanted we failed so bad but that being said I wouldn't call it a fail as such it's a work in progress I did find a lot of dark academia things I found a lot of things that were the right print you're right like cuts I found a lot of skirts that were the right cut you found those tweed pants that would have been perfect if they were my size every store we went to I found tweed pants so as far as trying to find equal outfits to the yes style stuff not gonna happen but not in a day at least not in a day but what I was thinking next week if we take this week to go on on thrift stores online I think we will have a lot better luck finding those sorts of specific items you know like we should be able to find pleated skirt I only found like two pleated skirts I found a few like a line I saw one of the pleated skirts you were looking at it was it was like pink and short and it was like like a Bratz doll skirt yeah nothing like what I need yeah but I do know from looking at salvos online and lifeline online and places I've seen plenty of pleated skirts I think that we bench the yes style topic and the yes style dark academia until next week then we can spend the next couple of days shopping online and trying to find giving me homework dang dark academia clothing but as far as this video goes why don't we just show some of the things that we got yeah how many things did you get four as a coat it's amazing it is so heavy it's it's like if you pick two cats up vintage sweater it's really cute if anyone tuned into my I went to a pastel thrift store video that I did last year there's this pastel thrift store in Koenji in Tokyo and everything that they sold was like this and this is the first time in one of our local thrift stores that I found like a vintage isn't it lovely fully embroidered and this is one of my favorite color combinations where it's went for shopping I wore a banana dress it annoyingly fit really well except it was covered up we covered with bananas so I left there and then I released a video and I was like get the banana dress and look okay fine internet peer pressure me so I went back to get the banana dress it wasn't there when I was looking at it someone mentioned that in the store like oh it was there for months and then suddenly someone's got it and this is the first time we've been back in like six months has reappeared in this it was just in the store I'm like someone bought it took it away it was gone for six months and they brought it back and it has to be the same one it's the same one cuz like no one just has this hanging around right the same one now last year my whole cruxes for thriftmas were things that were iridescent but this year my whole cruxes have changed to blue porcelain in my video about my hair curlers I acquired my first whole crux which was the blue vase then from that same store we went back there today I acquired my second whole crux this beautiful blue vase with the pheasants on it this is $45 it matches the theme of a lot of the things that I have in this house so this will look really nice with some hydrangeas sticking out of it my third whole crux a little ginger jar I love these I really love taking the lid off them and sitting the lid off to one side you have flowers sticking out of the jar and then you've got a little lid sitting off to one side it's just a really nice way to decorate the place it's made in Japan I didn't even realize it was from Japan I didn't even look on the bottom of it I just you just saw it and picked it up one yes yes these are to sit on the back of my kitchen bar stools I've got four matching bar stools and there's four of these little wreath things now this you looked amazing in $25 the brand is Delinda Delinda blue label very nice Sydney by Ronan young it is sweet vintage piece of clothing in the most pristine condition I don't think it's ever been gorgeous I think someone's grandma had this sitting in their suitcase or something and then she passed away and then their family just donated it and I don't think that she ever wore it I reckon that's something like that because it's it's like it would have been brand-new out of the store but it's still has a belt I don't know if there's any fabric composition will you have a look and see if you can find a little tag on the inside this dress is from seed heritage and seed heritage is an Australian brand that's pricey and I've never bought anything from there before because it's the sort of store that you walk into and you're like wow that's pretty and you look at the tag you go yep you turn around and leave it's really nice stuff it's good quality but it's expensive and I've now acquired a couple of seed pieces in my thrifting journeys this reminds me of the black yes style dress that we all raved about you guys remember like the the one dress that fit everyone that looked so amazing on everyone this is a very similar dress to that but it's just a lot longer I don't wear that dress a lot because it's so short but this one comes all the way down past my knees and there's no tag so I know you don't want it it's a size 16 I bought it because we've got a few friends that are a size 16 and I'm gonna do this video where I've got all of this beautiful clothing it's like 14 16 18 I'm gonna get my friends to have a look at it and they can have whatever they want anything that they don't want if you guys want me to list it online I can sell it to you guys for what I bought it for that was $20 I believe $25 so I think $25 for something like that no it's really like I do think it's lovely it's just not my style and I wouldn't wear it then the last thing I got from that store was this incredible basket look how heavy this is this is a huge wicker basket it's $10 I'm actually going to use it to put my enormous fiddle leaf thing in thrift stores are excellent for acquiring baskets yeah apparently because I got two of them at the same source that match a basket I got last year in thriftmas this was from seed I got this because it's so delightful it's so well made this is a large why don't you pop it on oh okay yeah put it on see what it looks like I just like this bit here like you can see how the stitching is going in different directions it's well structured I definitely did well with the dark academia thing today as you can see I did very well that looks nice on you hello that looks really nice on you thank you everything there's a possibility it might not fit me it might not look good it was $20 and it's from the brand forever new which is a very nice store in Australia not to be confused with forever 21 completely different store I got this for Michelle because Michelle is German and I think I think I'm not certain but I think this is some sort of German just wait until you find out it's Swiss Michelle looks really really nice wearing green and green and red she likes to wear so I thought I'll add this to my little pile of things that I've been buying for her okay fine do I have to get in this one okay actually the now this is the most expensive thing I bought for this it was 12 bucks dollars this necklace that I got this is I just I'm really glad that I looked in the jewelry cabinet because this is so small and so dainty I absolutely would have missed it yeah which would have been a real shame because if you guys tune into Monday's video I went thrifting and I got a blue vintage suitcase I got blue earrings and I got a watch and now I've found a beautiful blue necklace look at this it's so fine I don't know if you'll even be able to see it anyone know what Wedgewood is it looks like a little Wedgewood head and it's very very heavy and on the back it's got copyright Sarah that says this is so nice I just I love how dainty it is this was um the top it's from Bordeaux right yeah it was five bucks it's funny because in yesterday's video I got a top from Bordeaux for like five or ten dollars or whatever it was and I was saying how Bordeaux is a beautiful brand but it's expensive brand new it's got a zipper down the side it's lined like dude it looks amazing just the last couple of things that I got Christmas decorations because the other day I got a gold Christmas tree and why you no focus on the Christmas tree it's just like Caitlyn looks beautiful my Christmas theme is gold blue and pink slash maybe not pink maybe just gold blue and white I know blasphemy Alex getting rid of the pink theme maybe I got some more gold baubles I like the packaging is that cold sandwich bags and they're quite nice they're really nice ones I reckon these were probably expensive when they were new they're glass baubles they're not plastic they're they're actual glass baubles Christmas cards because they've got gold on them and obviously that's the theme of my Christmas this year gold and then your Christmas because the one that Dan and I currently uses that big and it fits six dumplings yeah one pork bun so we set out for a dark academia hall and we came away with vases steamers blue dresses oh and I got my my second basket I got two of these which makes me very very happy because these look so nice styled around the house with blankets and stuff in them so that's ANA yep yeah another thing I love about this suitcase that it's so lightweight like compared to other suitcases that I've had this is definitely the most lightweight carry-on suitcase I've had another thing is their wheels 360 degree whatever they call like wheels so it's spinner wheels so it glides easily and smoothly as you're traveling so I take this to Tokyo a lot and so when you're in Tokyo you're going to be taking the trains and you're going to be going up and downstairs so you need something that's going to glide smoothly with you also lightweight because you're going to be going up the stairs carrying this thing with you all these trips I've taken on like I've absolutely loved this suitcase it's been on like so many trips with me and it still looks great actually you know for being like a light color like pink it's not really that dirty we don't check it in this one you know actually I have checked it in oh you have I have checked it in too so like you have yeah because again like budget airlines I had to check it in okay so I've never checked in a lot of European budget airlines they're gonna make you check this in so they're like look at it and they're like no you're not gonna take it on with you so they make me check it in so I already knew that it looks really nice though that's what I mean like this has been through a lot and it still looks great and there's like a lot of other great things about this suitcase but we've done a couple videos on this so yeah so just make sure you go back and check those out because we go into like more detailed review of this like I could just talk about this like even more I think the only thing I will say is why I ended up why I was I was so glad that I didn't say no to the offer was because now I actually use that one over my other one that I had and the number one reason why is because it's a lot more lightweight and now a lot of airlines are getting more and more stingy with like the weight so and also the way it's made I can fit more so for my carry-on so yeah I feel like I need to just get rid of my other one because it just sits in my closet I don't I don't use it anymore yeah I'm getting to that point yeah so thank you quince for like our first collaboration like it worked out great and three years later we're still using it the next staple item that I love from mainly are they're like linen products I got this linen top and this linen skirt and I wore this in Japan during September and it's pretty warm in September still in Japan so this linen outfit came in handy because linen you know works really well in the summer because it's more breathable it keeps you actually cool a little bit so this was really nice it actually this it matched the style of Japan too they like like this simple boxy kind of look and with like the effortless casual kind of look thing so I did really enjoy wearing this in Japan and you know just like around Florida too because Florida's so humid so this linen really helps out with the breathability and it's really well made I do like you know this button front up here I like the way it's colored like this and you have like a little opening in front and even the skirt is nice too like there's a two side pockets which is always great you know girls love pockets in their skirts and there's like a slit I believe yeah there's like a slit on the side here too to give you extra you know breathability and like coolness so that you feel the breeze when you're walking around so yeah so these two items were really great for like my summer wear everyday wear but they have other linen products too so I've been like kind of testing it out so they have like I just got these shorts these are linen shorts too so these could like match you know with this top too so they have a lot of items in their collection where you can like mix and match a lot and they keep their items it's really rare for them to like discontinue or like change out so many things they will discontinue but it takes some time it takes years before they discontinue something and they also keep their colors consistent like they don't go like all over the color palette so that you know if you want the same color you know shorts like if this was like their brown color they would have the exact same color and their shirt or their skirt so that you can like match properly they also made a really good point with their styles I do think that they make like timeless styles and it's and they make it to you know something I bought three years ago and then I'll buy like maybe like something else and it's still it'll still match what I you know currently have so I'm not you know I'm not being careless with my shopping and wasteful like I do I am trying to be more thoughtful of like what I purchase and put in my closet so I'm not just you know buying buying buying and then like never wearing something again so anyways yeah like yeah yeah so Quince does you know help out with that and they do you know state that they are a sustainable company too so they a lot of their material that they use they've been kind of using like the recyclable kind of material which goes into my watch next so another staple item of mine from Quince is their watch band so this is made from acetate it's like a really nice alternative to plastic it has like a nice gloss uh color of it too so they use acetate a lot for like glass frames and stuff and like we don't watch bands as one of them and but this one is like so nice because I was or again it was candy that I copied so candy got one of these first yeah because I was actually looking for this style and every other brand I came across they were selling it for like 50 to 75 dollars and I'm like I don't want to spend that much on a band and theirs was like what 25 it was 29.99 yeah 30 so it's like a it was like it was a price point where I'm like I'm willing to buy it at that price point yeah I love like their elegant style to it it matches everything they have like different colors of this like I got the white one too but I mainly use like this brownish tan color one I forget it's adjustable too right yes yeah you'll get the cufflinks extra cufflinks get like a little kit so you can do it yourself you can do it yourself it looks intimidating at first I know because when I first saw them I can I figure this out it was really easy so yeah if I can do it you can do it seriously because I get like really frustrated with like little things like that but actually what I think what I did was watch a YouTube video of somebody doing it and then I felt a lot better and I was like I could do this but yeah I've gotten many compliments on it I wear it all the time I've actually had this I think for like two years now and look it still looks so nice and new and I've taken it I wear it every day I don't take it off until I go to sleep I mean I have like a tan line because I wear it so much and like that shows just how much I wear this and like there's no like scratches nothing it still looks pristine another thing of theirs that I really love is like this ear cuff that I got from them but unfortunately they don't sell this ear cuff anymore I know because I was gonna buy it and I'm like what they don't have it anymore they had it for a long time I waited too long I waited way too long they had it for a very very long time so I'm shocked that they don't have this anymore but it was my definitely my staple piece I wear this all the time wasn't that your first jewelry piece from quince I think so I think I think we keep like jumping like categories first it was clothes then we went to like travel items and then like little accessories and then when they came out with jewelry because they keep growing too yeah and expanding so like when they came out jewelry we're like okay maybe we'll try their own jewelry I think that was the first thing you got right yeah and I love it they don't sell this one but they have other ear cuffs other lots of other jewelry to choose from which candy can get into next because she's got a lot of jewelry from them yes so I I never had any diamond earrings before so when quince was starting to sell diamond earrings I'm like hmm maybe I'll like check those out and I did find one that was affordable I mean they do have somewhere on my okay well I'm not spending thousands of dollars I I don't have that kind of money to play with but this one you know was very affordable and I thought it was really cute and petite and I read like several reviews before and then there's like that's the thing with quince there's like hundreds of reviews on a lot of their products so you can spend all day reading reviews I usually maybe read like the first three pages or the ones that have pictures and the reviews were great like everyone said like you know they're comfortable you know they don't they don't look fake I mean they actually you know they they're real diamonds so I'm like okay so I got it and I've been so happy with them because I don't even take these off because usually I can't wear earrings to bed but I shower with these on I wear them to bed and they don't bother me at all and I think it's because it's petite so this particular product I'm very happy with but I will say there is one that I am not happy with and that was actually my very first jewelry purchase from quince and it was two years ago and just last week it freaking broke and I was so sad I'm going to show you and it's still very popular on the site so I don't know if I just got unlucky with the one I got but it's these hoop earrings and they're 14 carat so it's like I don't want to throw these away because it's solid gold so I'm like what am I going to do with this can I melt it I don't know like can I make something else out of it but this part right here where it loops in it broke on this side and it got stuck inside so a little bit disappointed but because I was outside of my return window it's been two years since I've had this I don't know I reached out and I messaged them you know the little chat portal and they felt bad and they said you know what we'll give you a partial refund I took it it's better than nothing because I've had it for two years now so this is the only one thing again this just happened last week so I think I was disappointed in and it was my very first jewelry purchase but I'm really happy with this one so and I have the I have other earrings from them like bigger hoop earrings and those have been fine and they're made a little bit different so I don't think I'll have the same issue like I had with this but all in all really happy with the except for this so just wanted to give my honest review of you know their jewelry products that overall I'm happy but I have been disappointed with just one this was one of my first purchases from quince before we started collaborating with them I like silk but the thing with silk is it's expensive and a lot of times you can't wash them you have to take it to the dry cleaners and I don't know if it's just me but I don't want to spend extra money to get something washed and it's just a pain in the butt like I just can't wash it at home their silk is washable and I've washed this many times I don't stick it in the dryer though and I hang dry it and yeah it's been great this this shirt is uh or this tank it's adjustable the back here the strap and also it's like um it has a lining so even though it's like this nice I mean this light material you know it's got lining in there so you don't have to worry about like things being like super see-through but I did wear nude under this and I also like the way it flows but the one thing I will say about silk products which me and Krystal we were just talking about the other day she was like I don't like quince's silk stuff sometimes yeah sometimes all the time and I was like you know I I know what you mean because I did try one of their silk pajama pants yeah and it's not that I didn't like the feel it was super static-y like the static would never come out of it and I tried their silk skirt I wasn't a fan because I didn't like the waistband it was the what is it called where um were they elastic yeah yeah it was an elastic waist and to me like silk and elastic waistband it just didn't look right it didn't drape well so I returned that um so I've tried two other silk products and both of them were a miss for me this is the only one that I really like yeah I do feel like this is made a little bit differently I wonder if it's because I bought it a while ago maybe like one of their first products you know because I've gotten like same thing I got those silk pajama pants I didn't like them and then I got like a short sleeve black silk top that was a button down oh I remember that yeah and I do like it I really really love it but it is really thin it's so thin because I like to wear it with a tie because I love wearing ties lately and when I wear it with a tie it's so thin and like slippery that this tie kind of slips out of it and so I don't like that I also didn't like that it was like really short but it's like another it was too silky yeah also but too thin of a material I think I think you know they try to use less material using premium products sometimes but I think with silk they go too thin sometimes it must be the way it's woven yeah I don't think maybe that's why um for me I don't like it because I look at this and this is like uh they use like double yeah right it's double but it's not like that with the shirt that I have it's just like one sheet of silk basically oh that's interesting so yeah I could see the difference in it so that's what I'm saying like some silk products are great I actually like that top but it doesn't work out a lot of times this one is like made differently so I think that's why it's better yeah and the great thing with quince is like you got 365 days to think about it or you have one year you have one year to return I mean obviously you have to keep the tags on and stuff but it's like I there's no like risk in so anyways oh sorry speaking of returns if we're gonna talk about that real quick like this suitcase they have a lifetime warranty on it oh I didn't know that maybe I did I don't remember I don't remember but I just like read about it recently and yeah so you know if you have issues with like the shell breaking or like the zipper's not working they will like replace it for you oh yeah I did not know that and so what I usually wear so I usually wear this in the summer I've a lot in the summer and then whenever it's a little bit cooler or you know some places it's just like really cold inside and I like to throw like a like a cardigan in my tote bag this is what I always take with me so I've had this for a couple years now oh yeah it is my favorite cardigan although on their site they say they're gonna like basically start getting rid of this style but they've been saying that for a while now and they haven't but I'm just like why it's so popular because I see that has a lot of great reviews so what I really like about this is super lightweight it's alpaca wool which I was kind of concerned in the beginning like because wool makes like my skin itch but this doesn't it's super soft it's not itchy at all I don't know if alpaca wool it has that something about that yeah but also the pilling and there's okay like I said I've worn this for two years now I throw it in my bag I do you know I toss it around and like the pilling is very minimal like I think it's like really decent for like me wearing it a lot and throwing it in my bag and taking it out and packing it so yeah this has been my go-to favorite cardigan I like that it's cropped then I also like the sleeve it's a little bit like like I don't know how to say this like a bubble sleeve yeah it's like a bubble sleeve the cuff right here thank you for being my model you're welcome it's like it's like a like a long it's like so if you want to like fold it it still works so I really like that about it and like I said like so when I first got this and then later on I got that it still matched like it was still like and and now this is these two are the staples in my own closet I almost like before they stop selling this which I'm hoping they don't even though they keep saying they do I'm like maybe I should get another color because like this is like the only color I have right now before they you know stop making this but um but so far it's still there maybe they're just trying to scare us like like I said like sometimes I do get rid of items like my hair cuffs and actually the skirt that I'm wearing the skirt you're wearing this is from quince too that I got a couple of years ago this is a chiffon skirt but they don't have this one anymore which I was kind of like bummed out about because I do like this skirt I wear it a lot it's really pretty the last item is pants and I don't think we've gone over pants it's all been like tops I actually don't usually get pants but didn't you get that one one time the cropped one the corduroy corduroy oh yeah yeah yeah and I remember you really liked I just lied yeah yeah I got pants I was like I remember because I did like it yeah but it's not when you take on repeat just because it's quarter right yeah I've only worn it like on one trip I think yeah I've only seen you wear it once yeah but I like the way it was oh did you go to london yeah I went to london yeah it was a really cute pair of pants but you know florida doesn't get that cold so I don't find really like a lot of opportunities to wear it is a true like cold weather yeah it is yeah so it worked out great for london yeah I love wearing it in london whereas the pants I'm actually wearing from quince these are the ultra stretch I don't know how to say this was ponty pointy wide leg pants and I don't even know what that meant and when I looked it up it just means a double knit fabric I was like oh okay which makes sense because it is on the thicker side it's a thick material but not thick like the corduroy because I have worn these on several trips to japan I actually wore this on our road trips they're super comfy but what I really like about this is that it's super high waisted I'm so into super high waist I don't like anything under 11 inch rise like it has to be 11 and a half and above and these are definitely above that also I like that quince they offer this in different inseams so I'm a little bit on the taller side I'm five nine and so when I buy a lot of times when I buy pants the inseams are like 30 to 30 and a half and that's too short for me because I like my pants to like be like like scuffing the floor like just slightly touching it but not too much to where it's gonna get it really dirty I like them really long because I just think it looks it just looks better to me I just like really like it makes your legs look longer so they have this in a like a long inseam so I was like okay I think these are gonna be my new favorite pants and I was so happy that they fit great super high waisted the inseam was great because I was able to pick the long size and the waist is the Krista always has to tell me what this is I don't know why I cannot remember elastic maybe go back in our other videos and you'll catch me like um because I don't know and I'm just it's so simple so like you're not talking about elastic yeah it's like I can't remember the word elastic I don't know why but I like this elastic because it's a flat one I like those too because like like we mentioned the pajamas it wasn't the flat elastic it's the one that kind of like scrunches up yeah I don't like that but the flat one is great because it like flattens out your tummy um it just sits really like flat so it's not adding extra bulk and the reason why I'm holding this up with the tag is like I love these so much and I wear them like on repeat in the winter especially when I travel and at home that it's like I have to wash them right away and I'm like I'm so tired of having to wash them right away so I ended up getting another one for this winter so like I can wear them like I need a backup yeah I need a backup and actually I was like you know this is and when I got it I was like I wonder how much the quality has changed out because I have washed these I don't even know countless times now because I wear them all the time and looking at it it still has held its quality I don't know if you can tell it hasn't even like really faded no I mean slightly faded but not much and it's still super stretchy and it hasn't like like the the stretchiness hasn't like given out what do you call that when the stretch like wears out anyways what is this again elastic you're joking I know but one thing to keep in mind though I never put these pants in the dryer I wash them and I hang dry them so maybe that's also another reason why the quality I would say majority of our clothes we do not dry them I don't like sticking my clothes in the dryer put them in the dryer I mean air dry everything yeah I it's just like it's better for the environment one but two it does keep the length the longevity of your clothes if you hang dry them and we grew up in Japan and we're used to hanging our clothes we don't really use dryers their clothes dryers there so yeah so anyways I can go all day about these pants these are and it goes with anything I feel like and I also like this like the the bone I don't know if you call it boning or whatever in the middle of the pants so it makes it a little bit more classy I think that's it huh that's it yeah those are our top items that we like rewear all the time and this is like for the past three years wearing different quince products styles yeah and these are like our favorites yeah like we have a lot more actually but these are definitely like our top yeah it's like this top is quince but I like it I just don't wear it as often because it just doesn't go with not like an everyday yeah so yeah now these are like our everyday items that we use all the time travels to like this suitcase always use this linen is great you know her pants so yeah cardigan cardigan right
