Today we're going to talk about our favorite travel pillow brand which is Cabo and I didn't really know how to say this at first yeah I think it's like that um Cabo uh the place right Cabo that's what it is they're like you pronounce it like that place Cabo oh like in Mexico yeah yeah I think that's how so today we're going to talk about our favorite travel pillow brand Cabo this is what it looks like well there's several different versions um but yeah we've done several reviews of the pillows and today we're going to do another one but before we get into it um I'm sure you're probably wondering how did we first you know come to know this brand I want to say was it five or seven years ago I was testing out a whole bunch of travel pillows there wasn't one that I was like gung-ho about but the older I get the more my neck needs the support on long-haul flights so I'm like okay I really needed to invest in a really good travel pillow I ordered a bunch on Amazon and the one that I stuck with was Cabo I think I kind of remember like a little bit of a more of a backstory on that because as you mentioned the trouble pillows like I was already set on Cabo and she was like well I don't know I still want to like try to test out some more just to be sure because I've tested it out before too but I didn't do any reviews or anything what did you get yours on Amazon um gosh I remember I think it was just like I went to the airport one time and I'm like you know what I'm just gonna like spend some money and buy like a good travel pillow it's bulky but I'm just gonna see if it works for me and ever since I tried Cabo pillow like I was able to sleep on the plane so I was like oh my god I think this is it this is my travel neck pillow so I told Candy about it and she was not convinced so she tried more and we agree that we like this specific travel pillow by Cabo yeah so anyways you know so then we did a review because we were both like yeah this is the travel pillow we like and then I guess Cabo saw our review and they reached out to us and ever since we've been collaborating with them so we're going to go over all the pillows so there's three pillows today that we're going to go over we're going to go over our current favorite and then we're also going to go over two new ones that we are going to discuss and review and go over all the cool features so our very first one that we're going to talk about is the TN-S3 so I have actually used this on multiple flights now the most recent being Japan and London and what I like about this is it has like this little strap here where you can adjust hold your you know your chin in or your I guess your neck keeps it in place and it has like these straps that on the back that you can put on the back of your airline seat to keep it in place so you don't lose it or it doesn't fall off your chair so anyways I when I started using this one Crystal had the an older version of one of their pillows and she saw the newer features and she was like well I want one of those too she had a copy off of me and got jealous I always copy off of Candy by the way but then I guess I did copy off of you with the very first one yeah very true so then so yeah so I wanted to get the same pillow as her and get an upgrade so I can have this cool strap too like Candy said the reason why I like is because like when you put it over you you can strap it in she hasn't used it yet so the tag is still on yeah we just got this I'm very excited but you know you can just strap it as hard or as tight as you want and it really does secure your neck so after I saw that I was like oh you know what maybe this pillow is better for me because the classic version that I have it's not as adjustable yeah yeah definitely so after I saw that how adjustable it was I was like you know what I do want that version so I got it there are some noticeable differences though um with these ones and when was the first one was the fabric so the fabric yeah because now this one is called evolution earth this one is called tnes3 so the evolution earth one the difference is the fabric so they use recycled fabric um and so you'd think that like oh recycled fabric is that gonna still feel good it actually feels a lot softer this one than candies um because this is a little bit different materials like it's sort of like a I don't know like a venting type of mesh fabric up there still very soft though but this one's more plush yeah this is more plush it has like that fleece type of feel to it like that stuffed animal feel yeah that's what it feels like yeah so it this version of cabo too like the way it's structured you know it's very bulky you know than the regular travel pillows that you usually see but I swear it gives you all the support you need and it will keep your head in place especially with this like chin strap now that they have because that blocks you from going down which we often do so it's not just a side thing you know we put our head down a lot too so this actually prevents you from doing that and like but it's very lightweight and it's used as a memory foam another great thing about these pillows actually all cabo pillows is they it's a removable cover so you can wash it once you get back from all your travels get all those germs off because that is I'm kind of a germaphobe I mean especially like when you're traveling on the plane and you're putting it through like TSA check and all that stuff you're around a lot of people a lot of like different objects so you want to take it off and wash or cover yeah very easy to take off and it's pretty easy to put back on too I've washed this I will say though just to make sure when you do wash it make sure this is tucked inside because the velcro starts to like catch onto the fabric at least this one it might be it's different with this one probably because it's plush yeah I could see with that one yeah make sure it goes back inside I didn't have any issues like putting it back in it looks difficult but it's not like it's pretty easy and then for extra cleanliness you get a travel bag that comes with it too which I love that it comes with a travel bag because I don't like my pillow just hanging out in the open again because you go through the TSA pre-check and you have to put it on the belt and your pillow's already like touching like germs and stuff so I like to have a bag and so this bag is new I've never seen this version like a sack yeah it's like a sack and I don't like it actually yeah we were a little bit disappointed with the new bag but because of the previous one it looks like this and it's like a circle shape and then it's got this what do you call this like it's just a clasp yeah yeah but it's very it's a plastic clasp that works really well that you can attach to your bag or your luggage so you know I always like attach I don't know if you can if it's gonna be able to see on here well actually let me get my little backpack here and show you I put it on top of my bag like up here or something yeah and I attach it and then you know just like hangs off and it's very very useful and it doesn't get germs on your pillow and you can easily you know just attach it to anything you want it on take it off yeah so the new bag we're like what this is the new style we're a little bit confused because I don't like I feel like it's a downgrade in style yeah okay so this is I guess recycled fabric too they said yes it's very functional but yeah because I'm just going to demonstrate so what you do is you roll it up and then you kind of stuff in the bag like so so it's easier definitely to put in the bag yeah I just don't it's not as compact though like with the other bag it made it more compact so yeah so then you do this and then it goes on this side here but yeah I just so also you know you have to like double not like this string because it's kind of long and I don't know I just don't like it I'm not a fan I'm not a big fan of this new so if you're not a fan of the new bag you can buy separately some one of their newer bags which I really like this I actually don't like of course I like this bag much more than that but I've actually had to buy another bag because this bag actually rips pretty easily after if you use it like often and it ripped and I actually had to sew it back together myself so I wasn't really a big fan of this bag material wise I like the style of it so when I saw that they came out with a new like mesh bag I was like I'm getting that because I actually like the style of it I like how the logo is not so noticeable the mesh fabric looks cool I think this style is so much better I'm so glad that they decided to upgrade their bag so I'm basically going to stop using this actually I'm going to give it to Crystal so she can use it thank you I don't like this one I'm sorry yeah and then I'm going to put you know my pillow in here because I just I like this new bag yeah I definitely like this bag a lot better than this there's like a little pocket in the back too a little mesh pocket in the back where you can put little things so yeah that's an extra yeah I wouldn't probably but just to let you know that they do have a little something there all right so here are some of like the new pillows that we got this one is the cabo evolution cool this one caught our attention because I did like this cooling vent sides here and it still does have the memory foam which I like but it's not as bulky so it's a little bit more slim fitting right so this is like really great for people that overheat easily so my boyfriend is one of them so I have him in mind when I saw this because he overheats and it gets hot easily so I think these are really great for people like him because Kenny and I generally we get cold on planes so we like to stay warm and this is why I like this too because it keeps me warm on the plane you know like the fabric's nice and soft and it does you know and they do say with neck pillows it captures more heat but these type of pillows where they specifically have like these air vents you don't get overheated so you know if you're like a hot sleeper then this really does help out and brings your temperature down which is really good because I because we don't have that problem I can see like if you're sweating then it might create like a rash too because of like the fabric you know like because I'm sure you're like moving a little bit and that can be an issue like with the fabric and the heat like so yeah I can see why this would be such a great option for someone that's a hot sleeper to have that those air vents yeah yeah so it's like a really cool design I think it has this clasp right here this so this is this clasp is like their original Cabo pillow that I had it's that kind of style but it does I think it secures your head more than yeah because this part comes up more than the other one yeah and it's not it doesn't feel as obtrusive on my face area yeah so this one actually you get more room to have you know just surrounding your neck because it actually has like these nice curve features right here where it adjusts to just your neck you know and then you have these sides that go up a little bit so that you can lean on it a little bit more they kind of like little cheek rests so just like that where it doesn't feel as obtrusive yeah as the other one that I have yeah this one so I do like the design of this a lot uh it's very soft still which I like and it's lightweight it's very lightweight and you know not as bulky and it still has that memory foam yeah except for something like is that plastic in there but no it's not it's all memory foam so it's very very comfortable and soft uh and this one too also has a removable cover so you know you can wash it very easily and it also comes with this cool bag so this is the bag that we like this one is called the evolution x and it looks a little futuristic to me the way the sides are so anyways this one is I think this is one of newest styles and what drew us to this one was the adjustability so basically you can make a really custom fit with this one whereas the other ones don't really have that option so if you're someone that has maybe a different neck size than the average I don't know what the average neck size is but um if you have if you're someone that has like a thicker neck or you have a long tall neck and you just don't ever fit like the usual neck pillows then this is probably a good one for you because you can customize it to an adjust and have it like a really super adjustable fit so the way they do that is in the back here when you open it there is and it says here adjustable neck strap so with this you can actually make it you know or tighter yeah tighter or you can make it looser yeah a little bit more loose but I think the main thing for this is to make it probably like tighter which I did do like I did make it a little bit tighter for my neck which I'll do that again because I was testing this out earlier so I just did a little bit to make a little bit tighter because you know I guess when I have it on the normal size there is a little bit of wiggle room so when I make it a little bit tighter it will be a lot more custom fit so I did that and the front here it's a little bit different from the other styles it's just one strap and you loop it around inside here and then you can remove it as well so slide it in like that and yeah so now I can feel like okay there's no wiggle room and then yeah it's very custom like it does I don't know why I'm closing my eyes like I'm sleeping you got to act it all out it does feel good I do like that because it has a curve like this it does feel comfortable like in this like my cheek area I do like that and it really depends to like sometimes I do like to sleep like this and when I do sleep like this I feel like I kind of like the other one better though it's a little bit more bulkier so um yeah but if you sleep forward I kind of like this one when I sleep because I do sleep like this a lot and it does really hold it really well and it's probably because it was really customized so it's not moving at all so yeah I think there's a lot of pros to this if you're someone that needs to have like a custom fit this is like a really great option the one thing about this that's different from the other ones too is the plastic here so the other ones don't have this plastic so then because it is plastic I'm like well then the bag is probably or the cover probably isn't removable but it is you can still remove it and wash it because it has like cutouts right here so yeah so they did think about that because I probably know that most of us are germaphobes and need to wash it and the bag it has its own bag because of the way with the plastic you can't fold the plastic so they I guess they had to make a different bag so it is bigger and they do make it to where it will fit this so I don't think this will fit in the other bags if you're thinking of getting the other bag because you don't like this bag I don't think it'll fit it does say specifically evolution x down there and this comes with the pillow so so yeah so that's pretty much the big feature on this is just the customization and being able to adjust it to have your own custom fit so out of all these three that we've tried we still like this one yeah this is our favorite I just I can't get away from this it's still my fave I think this was like a close second for me I like the cool one too because again like it's lightweight it's uh more slim you know not as bulky and you know if you're a hot sleeper these vents really do help yes this one was my least favorite I would say but you know I think it really depends on the the person like we don't we're not hot sleepers you know and we're not someone like we don't I don't think we have I think we have an average neck yeah so I don't think we need I don't know what an average neck is but yeah I think we have an average I guess we're average because I feel like I didn't need to really have a pillow that need to be really custom fit because the ones they're normal ones that they provide fit great for us so um so yeah this one is still my favorite I think like this neck strap or this chin strap right here you know is enough of a customization for me to like just tighten it up around my neck and I'm secure like my neck is secure and I'm fine with it and I like this material that they use especially like the new one with the earth I love this yeah I definitely like this and actually I also like this because I don't really need the straps at the end yeah we thought we did yeah in the beginning I thought it was great but then in the end it's like I ended up not really liking it as much as I thought I would yeah yeah like I would use it 50 50 like sometimes I would like it because you can just keep it in place yes but then other times like it would just get in your way or some seats like the pillow is like it's like at a height that doesn't quite work with the height so you're like yeah so just yeah so sometimes it didn't work out so if you're kind of contemplating which one I would say I think I like this one more now that I'm saying I'm gonna have to get that one yeah so in our next review yeah we're gonna she's gonna be upgrading to like one of these pillows and then you're probably gonna have a different one yeah because we have we do love cabot pillows a lot like we have stuck by them and we just we genuinely love their travel neck pillows yes and I have tried other ones in between not because I bought actually my husband he bought like new neck pillows I'm like why'd you do that we have we have like great ones and of course guess what he used it once I was like yeah I like the other one I was like I told you you don't need to try anything new we could try something new maybe try one of their newer styles but yeah so then even he went back to um Cabo and I was like I told you they're the best these are the best so yeah so we hope this review helped you out if you were trying to decide which Cabo neck pillow you were trying to go with or just like in general you know what travel neck pillow would be good
