this you understand the point so I click on direct acting and click okay now this guy is ready okay so good now we can give a set point some value where is the set point set point is here I want my PID to be at 89 and where is the set point is good good cascade okay then I want this guy to be at some value right I don't want this to be set point I need to give it some value here to simulate in also so I will enable it I would give it 80 value okay so this is now 80 value and this set point is termed as your how much was how much was the value for the set point 89 okay now if we give it a 10 value for instance this AI that would behave in a better way I think let me instead of getting a high value we can give it a same 60 50 value that's a better way now you can see there are many options that exist if you come here into this block you can also see there are many options but first of all we have to understand see the gain is there there is a PIND rate is there that is there and you have a reset and you have a gain also and you have a outscale that you have actually scaled a value that your output would be between 0 to 100 it would not exceed more than that I'm sure that my process value or my control wall is between 0 to 100 percent there is no more actually opening of the control wall more than 100 percent then in that case you can see you can put up a zero limit for a low limit and high limit would be adjusted to 100 you can see here right any questions it's okay this this is your high limit in similar way you can also give a low limit in high limit to input values also but yeah this is a set point and one important thing with more thing yeah you can see the mode option here it's in the manual you can put it auto you can put it manual here you can put it cascade you can get put cascade remote and remote output but we would be talking about auto and manual in this case so I put it in manual and I'm trying to give a value and I need to save this program I need to download it and then see what is the response upload to the download to the station you can first upload it select okay and it's going to upload and then download anyway okay so now you see you put up a value of 50 and your set point is 89 as 79 and you're trying to give the output value to some value let's see and I want to give this output some value so I'm trying to give out manually so I'm now we have to tweak with the PID terms to see the response so if you see that we have a gain here so I want my gain to be high so what I where is the gain best way is put here and just select some give some value and I give it one to see the response now see the value is changing when I give a gain gain value you see the value of feedback is also changing and that back calculation is getting back to here also you see that's what I was talking about the feedback is going to be fed in in the back calculation now system is trying to reach to that value this is a set point 89 and your value is 50 okay so the system is trying to maintain that value if you try giving a value for example 675 see the response is changing so based on what you have at the AI which is your input your output would regulate the flow so this output would be actually connected to control valve and this AI is connected to the temperature transmitter in the case what we were actually talking about that's all
