this apartment much longer so yeah it's going to be exciting new things happening very soon so of course because it's a new year i went to the shops to get some fukubukuros and i vlogged a little bit when i went shopping so lisa you can see what's inside it yeah i've literally just got a stick blender recently oh what's that hot plate i've decided i'm going to get the reindeer bag because the wego bag it's cheaper it's only 5 000 yen but you can actually see inside the bag and i guess the point of fukubukuro is not knowing what you get inside so you know because it's more fun i'm going to get the reindeer bag they have a 3s 4s oh okay but these aren't going to fit our dogs oh my god frank frank has squid game merch the star is actually kind of cute oh my god is this a um it's for snacks oh my god it's for your it's like a giant stanley but stanley oh my gosh what's with the stanley things these days like i don't understand this like can you just get a plate like this is going to be a pain in the bum to clean this is for hot girl dinner when you eat popcorn and crisps okay okay i think i'm gonna get this one so it comes in different sizes this one so this year i only decided to get one bag because look i'll be honest with you guys i feel like over the years the fukubukuro has been kind of getting worse and worse in my opinion because okay back i would say 10 years ago the bags were amazing initially the point of the fukubukuro was for the store to put in all stock that they couldn't sell into this bag so they can get rid of it for the new years but over the years i've noticed that stores would make products specifically for the fukubukuro which kind of defeats the purpose because they're making new items to put into the bag and usually the items aren't as good quality so that's why i decided to only just get one bag this year and look hopefully it's a good bag if it's a good bag then i will consider buying another bag next year if not then i think i'm probably gonna end the series there even though i've been doing it like every year for so long um but yeah i just feel like these days it's just not what it used to be so i do have some unboxings on my vlog channel if you guys want to check that out after this video i'll link that down below but in today's video we are going to be unboxing the reina fukubukuro so i got this last year it's actually one of my favorite brands in japan right now this dress is from them so okay back in the days i used to love liz lisa the frilly floral clothing but i'm not really into that anymore so and also liz lisa doesn't do fukubukuro anymore i don't think so yeah that's why um i mean look that was maybe 10 years ago i've moved on fashion wise i am much more into more simple clothing so yeah that's why the past couple of years i've been going for this brand so this bag was 11 000 yen which is around 110 australian and usually what you get in the bag is worth more than what you've paid for the bag also every item they usually have a price tag which tells you how much the item is worth i say this every year take that with a grain of salt because there's a huge markup on the price for all the items which i guess would make you feel a bit better about your purchases if you think that what you have in the bag is worth way more than what you paid for the bag itself just take it with a grain of salt you'll see let's open up the bag okay first item an orange skirt i actually like this hey okay i like this we got a long orange skirt with some white stripes it kind of looks like it's made out of satin but it's just made out of polyester and this skirt it says oh it's worth 11 000 yen which is what i paid for the bag see what i mean it's definitely not worth 11 000 yen but i would say i don't know i'll pay 3 000 yen for this it is a cute skirt and i can definitely see myself wearing it next next we got another skirt and hey i love this okay i have a good feeling about this bag because usually every single year i open up a bag and i usually get disappointed but this is something i will definitely wear it's got this ruffle look on the side this will look so cute with a sweater and it's a long skirt so i can still wear this in winter if i just wear you know fleece leggings so okay this skirt is worth apparently 8 400 yen um i would say okay it's like worth again about three thousand yen not eight thousand yen but this one is in a size extra small so the brand this year they had a choice between different sizes so usually the bags only come in one size but some brands that do multiple sizes i got the size small for this bag so yeah that is a skirt and i really really like it next oh this is heavy oh it's a long maxi dress yes oh okay we got this lime green maxi dress okay i am pretty happy guys like this is cute af it's got different textures to it it kind of flares out at the bottom it's one of those dresses where it looks like you're wearing a sweater underneath that is cute this is something that i would actually wear and this dress was worth 11 000 yen to be fair i would say i would pay like 5 000 yen for this dress it's super cute okay maybe a bit more 6 000 but not 11 000 so still like okay look guys if you added up all the items so far it's like you know apparently worth triple of what i paid for the bag and i have barely finished unboxing it so i mean i am very very happy so far because with just these three items i feel like i've already got my money's worth but yeah definitely not three times my money's worth but this dress was another success oh my gosh i am so happy so far oh my god next is a t-shirt a t-shirt that says linda on it um okay i mean the material feels very soft and comfortable i'm not really sure what the linda is about um this is worth 4 000 yen um i would say like look i'll pay like 1500 yen for this this t-shirt i honestly would have preferred if it didn't have any you know embroidery on it but it's still you know a nice shirt that i would probably wear for pajamas next oh a green skirt we are getting a lot of long skirts inside this book but that's okay because recently i've been wearing skirts very often and i don't have that many long skirts so i've just been wearing the same ones over and over again it's kind of like a pastel green giving garden vibes yeah i love this skirt i feel like this would go very well with just like a plain beige sweater this skirt they say it's worth 9 000 yen i'd give it maybe 4 000 yen it feels very nice next we have oh a jacket trench coat i guess this is like an oversized trench coat which okay this looks really big i remember last year for the fukubukuro i got a huge oversized coat and honestly it just looked ridiculous on me because i'm petite so if i'm wearing a coat that's oversized it just drowns me out and makes me look like an oompa loompa so unfortunately oversized coats is not my thing but since this is kind of more of like a trench coat i feel like this would work a lot better compared to the really thick one i got last year so this one was worth 14 000 yen i would say like this is probably worth like five thousand six thousand yen it feels very soft and light so not enough for winter but it's going to be perfect for spring and this is the last item oh is it a bikini it is wow we got a whole bikini set all right i'm not going to do try on for the bikini because it's winter right now in japan it's freaking cold so i don't want to like you know catch a cold you know get sick because i am going on a work trip next week so i cannot get sick before my trip i actually have a bikini exactly the same style as this so what you do is that you just wrap this around your body and then you tie a bow at the back and then at the front this is kind of like a crisscross shape which is super cute now okay i have to say something about bikinis in japan right they are usually very padded which is great for girls that have small boobs like me because it just gives you that extra oomph because of all the padding i feel that the bikinis in japan are super expensive so i remember the one i bought i can't remember exactly how much i paid but i would say about 15 000 yen so the price tag for this one says 16 000 yen which yeah i mean for a bikini in japan knowing how much they cost yeah that sounds about right we've got the matching bottom part that has a cute bow on it so you know what i i'm very surprised that they included a bikini in the book of book raw because these are expensive and this is something i would totally wear so i'm so happy with this like look okay i'm very happy with pretty much every single item i've received so would i be doing this again next year yeah i'll probably get it next year reindeer you sold me this year like this bag i would have to say it's way better than last year's bag i was you know expecting the worst to be honest because yeah um there were a lot of bags i decided not to buy this year but i did manage to get the pokemon focal book raw which i will film for my second channel but yeah look i'll be honest i'm not really expecting that much because i saw a preview and i was like not sure if i should buy but in the end i was like i'm just going to keep the tradition for another year just to see um but i do think that this is going to be the last year i'm going to buy the pokemon focal book raw for sure um i haven't received it yet though so i will be filming that tomorrow when hopefully it arrives um but yeah that is the end of today's video um i unboxed the reindeer focal book rule which i think is 100% worth it what do you guys think of the clothes once again i will make an update video on this channel just explain what was going on over the last
